Love your macro shots jenny. Ive tried some with my kids but I can never light the scene as well as you. Is it filtered? mine always come out harshly lit, yours are always wonderfully warm.

Great detail there. However I don't really like shots of only one eye especially if it doesn't fill the frame. I'm surprised you could still see his eye because when my brother laughs I don't see his eyes anymore lol. Oh and being Chinese adds to seeing less of our eyes too. hahaha.

What a great idea. I'll try that too some day. It's like there's a whole different world in his eye! I like it! You should try taking the picture of a cat's eye too, that would be interesting (if it stays still!)

yu can see all the little hairs and spaces on his skin and the little stray hairs where one would need plucking.
