Love your stories and I like the detail in this "super-macro" shot hehe. However I don't feel that using the other feather for scale really works here because I cannot see the entire thing. Maybe including something small would work better like a piece of not for example.

I like this. The small feather is delicate and with nice detail. I like the large feather for the color and lines it adds to the shot. It makes the photo more interesting than just having the small feather on a wooden floorboard background.

Lovely shot, I however feel the soft focus in on the wrong end of the image, would have loved if the shot was sharp then progressed in DOF

looks great...although at first i couldn't tell what it was....but i think it looks good....and i think the larger feather adds something extra to the shot and make sit more intereting...
